Fast friendly skip hire.

DG Skips – Terms of Hire

‘The Provider’ means DG Skips Skip Hire.
‘The Hirer’ means the customer of the Provider.


General Terms

  1. The Terms and Conditions of DG Skips Skip Hire currently in force shall in all cases supersede any conflicting terms and conditions of the Hirer.

  2. The contents of all skips hired remain the property of the Hirer until full payment has been received by the Provider.

  3. All skips are deposited, collected, and left at the Hirer’s risk. The Hirer is fully responsible for any damage to persons or property arising from the depositing, collecting, or movement of skips, including theft.

  4. Once a skip has been deposited by the Provider, it must not be moved or relocated by anyone other than the Provider.

  5. The following materials must not be placed in any skip:

    • Asbestos or asbestos-based materials

    • Chemicals or liquids

    • Tyres

    • Fridges or freezers

    • Car batteries

    • Hazardous waste of any kind

  6. To ensure safe transport, skips must not be loaded above the top of the skip sides. Overloaded skips will not be collected until the load has been reduced to a safe level.

  7. WhatsApp verification is required for all collections.
    The Hirer must send clear photographs via WhatsApp at the time of booking collection to verify that the skip is not overloaded. These images will be cross-checked against the load when the driver arrives. If the skip is found to be overloaded or unsafe to collect, a wasted journey fee will apply.

  8. Placement of an order constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Where no person is available to sign upon delivery, acceptance is deemed confirmed. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours.

  9. Wet concrete must never be poured into skips.

  10. The Provider reserves the right to collect a skip at any time after the 14-day hire period without prior notification.

  11. The Provider reserves the right to charge reasonable repair or replacement costs for any damage to skips caused while on hire.

  12. No fires are to be lit in or near the skip.

  13. Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled delivery time. Refunds are at the discretion of management.


Delivery and Collection

  • Standard Delivery Area: Within an 8-mile radius of CV6 7NB

  • Distance Rate Delivery: Between 8–12 miles of CV6 7NB

  • Standard On-Site Time (Delivery): 20 minutes

  • Standard On-Site Time (Exchange): 30 minutes

  • Excess Time Charges: £10 per additional 10 minutes

  • Wasted Journey Fee: £100 will be charged for any wasted journey, including but not limited to:

    • Overloaded or unsafe skips

    • Blocked or restricted access

    • Incorrect address details

    • No contact on site

    • Cancellation within 2 hours of scheduled delivery or collection time
